How to Do Wim Hof Breathing

Follow these simple steps to practice the Wim Hof breathing method safely. Always practice in a safe environment - never in water or while driving.

Step 1: Get Comfortable

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and try to clear your mind. Make sure you're in a safe place where you can fully relax.

Step 2: Take 30-40 Deep Breaths

Breathe in deeply through your nose or mouth, filling your lungs completely. Then let the breath go naturally without forcing the exhale. Repeat 30-40 times at a steady rhythm.

Step 3: Hold Your Breath

After the last exhale, hold your breath for as long as comfortable. Don't force it - most beginners hold for 1-2 minutes. You may feel tingling or light-headedness; this is normal.

Step 4: Recovery Breath

When you feel the urge to breathe, take one deep breath in and hold for 15 seconds. This completes one round. Repeat for 3-4 rounds.
